Wow, what a show. I went to see Metric last night, and they were AMAZING! I heard their new songs for the first time, and it was LIVE! I don’t know if this new album will be able to hold up to what I’ve already heard.
There were two opening bands. The Lovely Feathers played first, and they were pretty good. Very fast, high energy music with lots of creative arranging with the guitars. The second band Jason Collett was good too, but it was a little too low on the tempo. I think if he had played first it would have been much better. But since he’s probably ‘bigger’ than The Lovely Feathers he wouldn’t have stood for it if he had to open for them.
I think I had something else to say on wednesday, but I can’t remember what it was. So I’ll just move on to today’s big news!
Serenity opened today!!! What is going to be a kick-ass movie based on the kick-ass tv show Firefly! I can’t wait to see it… don’t know if I’ll get to tonight, but if I don’t then I MUST go tomorrow, even if I have to do it alone.
