So, last night I applied for space on SourceForge.net, a repository for open source software. Basically it is free hosting for your open source projects… insentive for you to make your project open source and giving you the financial freedom to share it with the world.
You can find my project Here, and the project website, Simple PHP Photo Gallery.
So, as you can see I’ve decided to make my photo gallery software open source. What exactly does that mean? It means that I agree to distribute the source to anyone who wants it. But it also means that they are free to modify, redistribute or incorporate it into their own project, provided they follow the proper procedures layed out in the Mozilla Public License 1.0.
