Second time in as many weeks I’ve posted a day late… and the one thing these 2 weeks have in common? SCHOOL STARTED… and since it has i’ve been overwhelmed with readings. Its driving me crazy!!!
I thought I would enjoy being back this term, but so far its not meeting its expectations. I can’t wait until reading week… when will february get here?
I want to post something interesting or cool, but I just can’t think of anything. So I’ll leave that for another day.
Right now I’m watching a concert on CBC that is meant to raise money for people who were affected by the tsunami… INTERRUPT
Ok, that sentence was going nowhere, and I just came up with a pretty good idea. But it’ll start with a short (very short) story:
In the passed few days (or weeks, don’t remember exactly when) I picked up my guitar having not touched it for a couple months. For some reason I decided that I wanted to start playing it again. Since then I’ve been WAILING away at it, figuring out how to play some songs that I like as well as putting together some stuff of my own (mostly just improvising over a couple of chords).
So, my idea is to start recording some of the stuff I’ve been playing and post the mp3s up on this site. Maybe I’ll give it a shot this weekend, see how it turns out!
